On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying: "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates.

DAIRY FARMING
DID YOU KNOW THAT ISRAEL IS THE COUNTRY THAT HAS THE MOST PRODUCTIVE DAIRY?
Israel is described as the land of milk and honey in the bible and Israel’s dairy herd is genetically made up of Israeli-Holstein Cows, characterized by their adaptability to harsh and varied climatic conditions. Israel has zero-grazing for dairy cows and some for beef cattle
The dairy sector supplies more than 80%of the country’s dairy requirements, with production potential greatly exceeding domestic needs.
Israel’s dairy herds supply 45% of the country’s demand for fresh red meat. The rest of local market demand is met by beef breed herds located in grazing areas

POULTRY FARMING

Israel’s poultry sector accounts for almost 1/8 of the country’s total agricultural
Broiler and turkey meat and eggs is among the highest in the world. In addition, ostrich are raised for leather and meat, primarily. Hot climate conditions in Israel necessitated the development of highly productive, disease resistant poultry breeds.

Other farming activities in Israel include:
-Bee keeping
-Aquaculture-fishing

-Sheep and goat rearing

GREENHOUSE FARMING
Production under protected conditions has become the principal way for Israeli growers to ensure a constant, year-round supply of high-quality products, while minimizing the use of chemicals. ONE MAN'S JOURNEY

Sometimes we want to take a trip but we have the fear of venturing in a new place alone we really wonder shall I not be lonely? Shall I meet all the cost of travel? Will it be good leaving my friends behind? all those questions hinder us from travelling alone and you wait till that time you will get company, what if your friends are not fun of travelling? Does that mean you will stay indoors and just die there knowing only your home town let me take you through the benefits of travelling alone?

BENEFITS OF SOLO TRAVELLING

Solo travellers know how to live moments to their fullest because they know that won’t last for long, so if they are in the mountain tops, in the beaches, in the bushes enjoying the nature the solo traveler knows how to do that best.

They don’t blame anyone for their misfortunes on the planning of the journey!! Flights they miss, showing up a day earlier in the airport, for the accommodation they forgot to book it’s all their mess.

They ask for nothing less than adventure, they are always ready to take risk because no one is near to resist them doing that. This end up creating a lot of bravery in them.

Being their own boss set them free to do anything they like. When you are own boss you are open to change and you receive it with no restriction. You are the master of everything

Travelling solo helps you meditate on your life and make lifetime decision. Recreating yourself to a new being and focusing on what you want to be in life, leaving all behind and letting go of your worry.

You get to meet new faces and make great friends because when you travel with partners you tend to stick to them all the time without talking to other people. And some of the new people you meet when you are alone tend even to become your life partners.

You gain a lot of knowledge moments you take time away from home really create a lot of impacts to your life and get to know a lot of new things which were tales to you. Knowledge is priceless.

They believe in entertaining themselves because if they don’t do that no one will do they know how to bond with other tourist and others locals. And through that they end up being the greatest story tellers they got a sense of humor in their adventure stories.

Flexibility when you are alone is so important if you feel like extending your trip to another country it’s all upon you. You will do all you wish with no one giving different opinions of what they want. No one is there to insist you go to the beach while you want to go to hiking.

We fountain make great itineraries for solo travellers and we know the activities they enjoy most even when alone just give us a call +254705 648 246 or drop us an email info@fountainsafaris.com

THE WILDEBEEST MIGRATION IS ON

Wildebeest is also called gnu(pronounced as news) is in the family of antelopes in its Swahili name they are called "nyumbu montu". the wildebeest is among the biggest antelopes we have and its face resemble that of a bull, and its mane and tail are like that of a horse. wildebeest are strictly grazers but don't live for long without water, they inhabit in large plains of African savannah where there is a lot of grass. one unusual thing with the wildebeest is that they can sense thunderstorms  30 mile away and this helps them follow the rains across Africa making the great migration,  "the seven new wonder of the world" which occur  from June they shift from Serengeti to Mara in search for food. Its predators are mostly, the king of the jungle , the fastest animal, the crocodiles and us humans because of its sweet food called the blitong in South Africa. There are two types of  the black wildebeest or the blue wildebeest the difference can be seen in that Blue wildebeest tend to be a dark grey color with stripes, but may have a bluish sheen. The black wildebeest has brown-coloured hair, with a mane that ranges in color from cream to black, and a cream-coloured tail. not all wildebeest are migratory the black wildebeest are mostly nomadic and have regular homes like for 1squared kilometer. its now a high moment for us to start enjoying the great migration again . Lets travel to Mara.

Kenya Airways Dreamliner is home

We were all waiting for the bride Boeing 787 nicknamed "The Great Rift valley" to come and join our family Kenya and it finally arrived on 5th April and it’s now a month old atleast it’s already familiar with the Kenyan environment. We couldn’t hide the joy in our hearts as we ran around all Kenya airways sales centre to take the stickers which were on our cars, doorsteps telling everyone around us that we are flying our B787 Dreamliner thus the Kenyan spirit.

Our president was at the launch of the Dreamliner and he congratulated KQ for they have more of global reach than Kenyan embassies have and with his personal experience it has one of the best pilots and crew in the world. He also said a very promising thing that Angola are opening their embassies in Kenya and so we won’t be in a hustle to be going to Dar El Salaam just to get visas, and thus a huge relief to all Kenyans. Like the way we get excited and yearn to get that new phone in the market like the Samsung s5 or the latest model of car in the market thus the way Kenya airways also yearns for the latest and efficient types of planes in the market because the Boeing has great advantages like the greater fuel efficiency and more cargo space achieved by increased use of lighter plastic materials in the place of market, this is among the many so its upon you now to make sure you fly the Dreamliner because it’s here to give you that unforgettable flying moment that you have always dreamt of the cleanliness and the beauty already sets that good mood when you step on it. The Dreamliner is now flying regionally within East Africa taking winners of the Dreamliner competition and the staff on demonstration flights and it will start its services starting early June from Nairobi to Paris. So let’s fly our Dreamliner to Paris come June be among the first passengers on that plane.
